We’re here to change all of that. Snif is a modern scent company on a mission to make buying fragrance simple, easy and fun via a risk-free, online, sampling experience. Snif offers high-quality, genderless, and clean fine-fragrance and scented candles through a unique try-before-you-buy approach. Snif puts community first, who we rely on to inform the scents we release.
We're a lean team, but growing quickly, and we're looking for someone who believes in our mission to change the way people experience scents. We've been featured in numerous pieces of press including, Forbes, Fast Co., NY Mag, WWD, Vogue, and more. Additionally, we're backed by some of the most revered investors in the DTC space.
While we are based in New York City, we're operating as a remote team during these times.
The Role:
There is no person more important than our customer, and there is no objective more important than customer loyalty and retention. As the Director of Retention Marketing, you’ll own the strategy, execution, and performance of this entire effort. This role requires an individual who has the desire and ability to establish connections with our customers and gain an understanding of customer groups at the strategic level. This role will include all retention marketing efforts (email/SMS), customer analysis and surveying, and all loyalty efforts.
The core metrics you care about are repeat purchase rate, customer retention rate, revenue driven by email and SMS, open rate, click-through, unsubscribe, and most importantly, overall customer satisfaction.
The individual we are looking for can wear multiple hats. You love (and want) to be in the weeds, which means owning the creative process, asset development, and scheduling. At the same time, you are a leader and strategist with the ability to set long-term objectives and think critically about how we continue to deliver a premium experience for our existing customers.
